Text Box: Ray Sirois, information technology director at Wright-Pierce, accepted the Riverbed "Pioneer" Award on behalf of Wright-Pierce at the First Annual Riverbed User Convention held recently in San Francisco.
Riverbed Technology is the performance leader in wide-area data services (WDS) solutions for companies worldwide. Wright-Pierce was the first US customer to purchase this technology in the Spring of 2004 after successfully beta testing it in the firm's five New England offices.
Mr. Sirois received the honor for assisting Riverbed in the development of their Steelhead wide area networking (WAN) acceleration appliances.
Mr. Sirois was also a panelist at a conference session entitled "Consolidation - Best Practices for High Performance Organizations."

"As we have grown into more New England locations, we have also worked hard to reduce the virtual distance between our employees in those offices. We utilize many new infrastructure technologies like Riverbed's appliances which truly enable our project teams to find better ways to progress our client's work," explains Sirois.
